Tim Claborn, Owner of Apostle Asphalt Maintenance, started his career in asphalt maintenance in 2005. He started working for the County of Santa Barbara Public Works Department in Santa Maria, California. After 5 years of hard work and dedication, he was hired as the youngest heavy equipment operator for the county at the age of 24.

November 11, 2011, was the day that changed Tim's life forever, it was the day he was Born Again into Jesus Christ and found a new purpose in life. After 9 years of service, Tim left the county in pursuit of a better life for his family and followed his newfound spirit. After working with a couple of local paving companies, Tim started working for Ramsey Asphalt Construction in 2015. He was one of their main Foreman providing the Central Coast of California services such as Asphalt Paving, Chip Sealing, Seal Coating, Striping, and Concrete. He later became a Superintendent for Ramsey Asphalt Construction in 2018. In May of 2018, Tim was given a great opportunity with the County of Santa Barbara to teach Asphalt Paving and Rolling Techniques to over 77 SB County employees.

Leading up to his move to Tennessee in 2020, his spirit within started to tug on his heart as California began shutting down and churches closed. Tim’s desire for a better life led him to take a position in Maryville, TN to be a salesman for a small local asphalt paving company. He fell deeper in love with the Lord and joined a discipleship program where he quickly had a vision to start his own company. The Lord guided him through life and took him to so many places to teach him what he knows today. There is no better name for a company than one showing obedience to the Lord. In 2025 Tim was Ordained as a Pastor and became the Pastor at Wildwood Baptist Church. All Glory To Our Father Whose In Heaven
